For the sixth year in a row, NG Art Creative Residency is proud to sponsor a three-week residency in Provence as part of the prize programme.
One of the UK’s leading contemporary art prizes, Wells Art Contemporary offers artists the opportunity to exhibit in the magnificent setting of Wells Cathedral. Established in 2012, the international open competition welcomes work across a broad range of media, including painting, sculpture, drawing, photography, film and site-specific installation.
Selected works are exhibited within the Cathedral and its grounds, creating a unique dialogue between contemporary art and the historic architecture of one of England’s most significant Gothic cathedrals.

Landscape Open 2027 celebrates excellence in contemporary landscape art through a major annual exhibition at The Salisbury Museum, showcasing artists working across a diverse range of media and approaches to landscape.

In our second year of sponsorship, NG Art Creative Residency awards a two-week residency in Provence to one emerging artist.
New Emergence Art Prize was founded in 2020 by former NG Art artist in residence Habib Hajallie to champion emerging and underrepresented artists from around the world. The international prize is open to artists working in any medium and offers a range of awards supporting artists through financial assistance, materials, mentoring, professional development and international exposure. Shortlisted artists are presented in an online exhibition, providing a platform to reach new audiences.
